Lomez Brown the artist has been bringing his feel-good music vibes to audiences in Aotearoa and internationally since 2013. Known as one of NZs “Polynesian Reggae” artists – Lomez Brown Music foundations comes from reggae roots, old-time soul/RnB and Polynesian grooves. Lomez captivates his audience with his smooth vocals, sweet melodies and body swaying rhythms. Lomez performs at a high standard every time he takes the stage.
Lomez Brown is of Maori/Cook Island decent and hails from Auckland, New Zealand. He is part of FeJoint Productions. A nominated finalist in the Aotearoa (NZ) and Pacific Music awards for his recent single "Tell Me" and EP "The Feels & Groove" in 2020. Lomez is a Cook Island Music award recipient for contribution to mainstream music in NZ.
Lomez Brown’s music is popular in Auckland and around NZ. Rotating on Niu Fm, Mai Fm and all major NZ radio stations. Streaming online with over 200,000 monthly listeners via Spotify. Lomez fan base spreads from the family BBQs at home, to the cities of Australia, over to the USA and the United Kingdom.
Lomez has toured NZ, Australia, Tonga, Cook Islands, Samoa, Hawaii and the USA. He has performed at festivals like: Raggamuffin NZ (2017) , One Love NZ (2018), Good vibes NZ (2019) and East Coast Vibes NZ
(2019). International - Island Reggae Festival in the USA (2018), Kuki Fest – Cook Islands (2018).
In 2019 his single “Tell me” debuted at number 1 on the iTunes reggae song charts NZ. Since then it has gained over 1.5 million views on YouTube in only 2 months. His single “Lovin You” debuted at number 6 in the NZ singles charts and has gained Lomez major recognition with NZ on air and major radio stations.
Lomez Brown features on a new FeJoint Production single called “READY” released NOV 2020. Lomez Brown has been an independent artist since the beginning of his journey. He has only now in 2020 officially become an artist and member of local Auckland based music label, FeJoint Productions.
